Sorbent Technologies Inc Silica XG TLC Plates, w/UV254, aluminum backed, 200um, 5x20cm, 50pk
"Silica XG" is a standard grade Silica 60 with a surface area of 500 m2/g, mean pore size of 60A, specific pore volume of 0.75 ml/g, and particle size of 5-17um. The TLC plates contain UV254 fluorescent indicator. This analytical soft layer is bound to an aluminum support. It has a thickness of 200um and dimensions of 5x20cm. There are 50 plates per pack. The Silica XG TLC Plate has outstanding wettability for precise colorization results, even with 100% aqueous detection reagents, and excellent separation efficiency and reproducibility from lot to lot. Cutting the plates is easy and reliable due to an optimized binder system. There is no flaking of silica gel layer. Binder: highly polymeric product, which is stable in almost all organic solvents and resistant towards aggressive visualization reagents; also completely stable in purely aqueous eluents.

Cellulose 300 polyester backed TLC plates. The coating thickness is 100um and dimensions are 5x20cm. There are 50 plates per pack. Applications include: partition chromatography of polar substances such as amino acids, carboxylic acids or carbohydrates. Cellulose is especially used for partition chromatographic separations of polar substances such as amino acids and other carboxylic acids or carbohydrates. Compared to paper chromatography (PC) thin layer chromatography, cellulose offers shorter migration times and more concentrated substance spots resulting in a higher detection sensitivity. TLC plates (CEL 300) are coated with native, fibrous cellulose.

Silica Gel G & GF UNIPLATES are the most widely used silica gel TLC plates. No organic substances are added to these products, thus making them compatible with sulfuric acid charring visualization.These plates are commonly scraped from the glass backing to isolate separated components for other analytical procedures. They are compatible with all organic solvents, however, they are not recommended for use in systems containing greater than 20% water because of the solubility of the gypsum binder in aqueous solutions.
